Tips for Getting the Best Coverage for Corporate Security Systems
Corporate security services usually install private label or name brand equipment that is compatible with most central monitoring stations. Be aware, however, that some vendors install proprietary equipment that is only compatible with their own licensed monitoring stations.
Corporate security warranties can also vary. One corporate security company may offer a 90-day installation warranty that covers parts and labor, while others will give you the option of protecting your system with more extensive warranties ranging from one year up to the life of the service contract.
Some dealers offer an extension of the short term warranty to include maintenance agreements and to cover parts, labor and service fees.
Of course, you should never enter into a contract with or make a purchase from a company that offers no warranty whatsoever. Be sure your business alarm system includes a warranty that will at least cover parts and labor so you can have complete confidence that your system will be operational at all times.
